Qualitative Research on Romantic Love · Chicago, IL · September 2015 – August 2016

  • Operationalized conceptualizations of romantic love and partnership practices based on thirty in-depth interviews and a collection of love stories

  • Designed a website and ran a social media campaign to recruit respondents

  • Employed eight different qualitative coding methods to each transcript to analyze results, develop a partnership framework, and disseminate findings in a report

Mixed-Methods Research on Unauthorized Migration · Tucson, AZ · May 2014 – May 2015

  • Investigated unauthorized migration and migrant deaths along the US-Mexico border
